Blue Peter presenters arrive at new home by helicopter and jet ski

The MediaCityUK piazza was transformed into a makeshift helipad this morning, as Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton arrived on site via a Royal Navy helicopter.

Fellow presenter Barney Harwood turned up by jet ski - no word yet on how Barney the dog is making his way.

Blue Peter will be broadcast for the first time from Salford Quays later today.
